    Diving Schools in Maldives

Never dived and novices at the art,
    Please, don't lose heart.
    Diving schools at every resort,
Make sure that you are taught.

Diving in one of the best diving destinations like Maldives is a not to be missed experience. Each resort has a diving school, specially set up to train novices. All the schools comply with international standards and aim to provide you with a safe and unforgettable diving experience.

The diving schools in Maldives are well equipped with state-of-the-art diving equipments. Equipments like Regulators, BCDs or Buoyancy Control Devices and masks are also available for hire.

    Diving Courses

Short term as well as long term courses, designed keeping in mind the varying interests of a tourist are offered. The different courses in their different levels train you to enjoy the varying dives. You can also specialize in dives like the Wreck dive, the night dive etc.

The schools have separate courses for kids and adults, with the beautiful, turquoise lagoons forming their training grounds. The lagoons with their clear water form natural swimming pools and are a perfect place for learning scuba diving.

Beginners usually start with the introductory dive that is carried out in the waist depth shallow waters of the lagoons. After nine dives and theory lessons, an internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certificate can be obtained which usually takes about a week.

Some schools do offer training up to professional level but they may require a certification of physical fitness. Qualified or professional divers should bring their logbook and copies of certificates and cards. All types of International certificates are accepted.
